Help our local Sea Scouts!

This is who we are

1st Boundary Bay Sea Scouts are part of Scouts Canada. We have a history of taking young people onto the water and teaching them practical boating and seamanship skills.

This is what we want to do

We want to introduce sailing to all the Scouting youth in BC’s Lower Mainland.

This is what we need to do that

We need well-maintained and well-equipped sailboat between 35 – 45 feet LOA. If you can’t part with your boat or don’t have one but wish to support this program, cash and in-kind donations will be gratefully received and put toward this program.

Program impact

We are developing a sailing program that will give Scouts in the Lower Mainland an opportunity to learn practical sailing skills in a safe, structured and genuinely hands-on environment. Our goal is not to create a yacht club. Our goal is to create young sailors.

Your legacy

Donors will receive an income tax receipt for the surveyed value of the donation. We pay for the survey. However, you can’t put a number on the pride and satisfaction from knowing that you are helping to create generations of sailors in the coming years.
